Glyde
Mental wellness made easy
Before the rebrand
There’s no clear front-runner in the mental health support space; relatable, modern, convenient, and an easy way of getting the support you need.
Therapy has a stigma. Glyde helps normalise it and offer a simple route to access by way of an easy-to-use booking platform for professional mental health therapy via phone and video call.
My role
This was a quick refresh of an existing identity and design system.
Once further funding is received, I would work with an illustrator and motion graphics artist to create and animate illustrations in the proposed style – which will become the core differentiator of the brand (illustrations below are just references).

The design system
The logo
The logomark is intended to bring a personal feel to the serious subject of mental health.
Colours & typography
In an attempt to remove the stigma surrounding therapy and mental health, I wanted to use a strong primary colour that denoted empowerment as apposed to clinical blues, greens or purples that many similar services tend to go for. In addition, bold black CTAs and header copy are used against the yellow, and natural tones are used as background tints.
Illustration & photography
The idea of continuous line drawings will become the centre of the brand identity - being an amazing storytelling device to develop narratives around the brand, and human emotions. It's also an anonymous tool to use when talking about a taboo subject, and also resembles doodling (something you would do when you’re in a calm place mentally).
